The First Primarch
In the dimly lit chamber, cloaked in an eerie silence that seems to weigh upon the very air itself, the figure of the lich materializes. Once a paragon of mortal might and intellect, now reduced to a spectral form bound to an age long past. His visage, a haunting reminder of his former glory, bears the unmistakable marks of undeath – a skeletal countenance devoid of flesh or warmth.
Adorned in a robe of deepest purple, its fabric shimmers with an arcane energy that seems to pulse with a life of its own, as if the very essence of magic courses through its threads. This garment, a relic of his ascendance to power, serves as both a symbol of his authority and a vessel for his boundless arcane prowess.
Atop his skull, where once a crown of gold may have rested, now sits a coronet wrought from the essence of a Prime Dragon. Its high peaks and intricate designs speak of ancient lineage and unparalleled mastery, marking him as the First Primarch – a title steeped in history and reverence. Embedded within its core lies a ruby of unearthly brilliance, pulsating with a long-forgotten magic that defies comprehension.
From within this ruby, the lich’s spectral form emanates, wisps of ethereal energy curling at the edges as if reaching out to grasp the very fabric of reality itself. Despite his diminished state, there is an undeniable sense of regal majesty about him, an aura of superiority that permeates the chamber and commands all who dare to gaze upon him.
With eyes that gleam with an otherworldly light, he surveys his domain with an unerring gaze, his intellect undimmed by the passage of centuries. Though his physical form may have withered away, his mind remains sharp as ever, a testament to the enduring power of his will and the depths of his arcane knowledge. In the presence of this ancient being, one cannot help but feel a sense of awe and dread, for he is a being of unmatched power and wisdom, forever bound to the annals of history as a harbinger of doom and despair.
A lich that The Order of the Owlbear encountered deep within the Murkwater Maze
The encounter revealed much information to the Order they knew it. Bhesolad was from a time long ago, and the caverns he lie deep within was a possible temple and resting place for him. Ancient draconic language, and carvings, artwork, all point to a time when Dragons lived among mortals.
Bhesolad, himself, was once a powerful wizard known as The First Primarch. Through time and rituals, there’s speculation that he used powerful magic to become a Lich but the mystery of how and why is lost to time.
After their fight, the Order found The First Primarch’s crown, which Hayden Sconey still continues to wear to this very day. The crown was made through Magnusalareniel’s golden scale, as well as a gem gifted to Bhesolad. It’s also said that part of the essence of Bhesolad resides within the crown itself, a fact that not all of the Order knows about.
Does this mean that Bhesolad Var could return and that their battle was a victory celebrated too soon? With Bhesolad voicing knowledge of Natharra (Damien Capashan and Rafe Capashan’s surrogate mother), how dangerous is this knowledge?
Recent Knolwedge
Unbeknownst to the rest of The Order of the Owlbear, Hayden has been in direct contact with the essence of Bhesolad Var over the past few months - as her power grows and she borrows knowledge from the crown, the close he seems put his influence on her wanting more knowledge.
